The team at Society Financial are thrilled to welcome Benn Brown onboard as CFO, to help with the next phase of our growth and international expansion.
A Chartered Accountant by trade, Benn trained with professional service company and Big Four auditor KPMG before moving into Industry.
Benn has significant experience overseeing the finance functions of businesses in both the UK and the USA notably as Head of Finance for the Americas for technical and engineering recruitment specialists - NES Global Talent based in Houston, Texas. During his time in the USA Benn also served as CFO for Major League Soccer Franchise Orlando City Soccer Club. Where he played an instrumental role in completing a significant funding round, propelling the club to one of the largest Franchises in the MLS.
Since returning to the UK in 2013 Benn has invested in a portfolio of businesses across multiple sectors in the UK and USA. More recently, during his role as CFO - Benn closed a successful Series A fundraise for New York based tech platform PowerLinks Media. Alongside his business interests Benn has also sat on the Board of Oxford United Football Club.
